Food Manufacturer Coordinates its Business across Disconnected Software Systems

A worldwide food ingredients company uses its innovative technology and highly-skilled research
and development teams to deliver a real difference in supporting their customers’ food products and strategic brands. Their business processes, however, were supported by multiple, disconnected ERP software products. Redundancies were creating inefficiencies, and people had to manually intervene with informal systems to fill the gaps.

Ceiba Solutions was asked to map their multiple ERP software applications and customizations into a single, synchronized business process. The targeted software applications included old versions of Mapics and Cimpro, and three different versions of Ross ERP.

The Ceiba team successfully integrated the legacy systems with the Ross ERP software, building an infrastructure with its Ceiba Data Integrator that maps these applications into a synchronized and coordinated process. At the same time, new processes, workflows and business rules were created, along with a new user-friendly interface.
